Nightime in Thai Town

For various reasons, my days often end on the outskirts of Hollywood – probably because I can’t cut it as Hollywood material. The Hollywood Boulevard strip – between Vine and La Brea – holds worldwide renown and attracts all types to it.

Little known is the part of the boulevard that resides outside of the bustle. Thai Town occupies much of the boulevard’s eastern outskirts, and it can get high energy at times. On one Saturday evening, after hanging out at the Hollywood Starbucks, I cranked up the camera and took a few nighttime shots on the corner of Hollywood and Western. This image truly embraced the tone of the moment in Thai Town.
